All models must be 18 years of age or older at the time they are painted.
Painting takes time.
You should be willing to set aside at least 2-3 hours, depending
on the design to be painted. The photo shoot thereafter takes an
additional 1-2 hours.
Our bodypainting rate is $100.00/hr. (minimum 1 hour).
There is no charge for the following photo session. You may purchase a CD with all reprint rights for personal use for $250.
How long does a session usually take?
To give some example you can see on the
website, the
Pharaoh necklace took about 4 1/2 hours. The beadwork was very
complex. The Japanese ocean painting "Wave" took about 2 hours.
Keep this in mind as you are budgeting your painting. Painting
can be done on the back, front, or full body. The studio
requires you to book one week ahead of time and give us a basic
concept of your design. An estimate of the cost of your session
will be given to you within two days.
Prints
of the photo shoot are extra. In another appointment you will
sit down with Kimberly and choose your prints.
In most
cases, both John and Kimberly are on site as artists. We do allow clients to
request specific artists, but generally, John and Kimberly will
be working on each project. Keep in mind, if you request only
one artist, the time to complete your painting will typically
double.
